Event overview
Join Cumberland Flux for a relaxed afternoon at Rocky Gap State Park on Saturday, April 25. We’ll be gathering in Elm Loop under the trees, just beside the beach, with room to settle in, talk, eat something simple, and enjoy being outdoors together.
We’ll have the grill going, a campfire going, water on hand, and a limited number of hot dogs and S’more ingredients available. You’re welcome to bring something to cook for yourself, bring a snack, or simply show up and enjoy the space.
This is a low-pressure Flux gathering, so there’s no big agenda and no awkward structure to keep up with. You can join the conversation, tend the fire, grab something to eat, or just spend a little time outdoors with good people in a beautiful place.
Sometimes a good event is simply a good place to be. That’s the idea here.

This gathering takes place at Rocky Gap State Park, in Elm Loop serving as our home base for the afternoon.
The site gives us shade, a place to gather, and room to settle in naturally while staying close to the beach area and the broader park setting.
